			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>So here it is, the first of my &#8220;new and improved&#8221; blogs, with more information and more days between blogs.</p>
<p>First and foremost this weekend was nothing short of a miracle! I had super vegetable pasta on Saturday night to compliment the toast for breakfast and fruit for lunch, and a turkey spaghetti bolognese on Sunday and Monday! Talking of the turkey bolognese, below is my first ever picture taken specifically for this blog!</p>

<p>It was rather tasty indeed, and I was able to have a bigger portion because I used turkey mince instead of beef mince. Yesterday was another solid day, my stats for the day are as follows;</p>
<p>Toast: 120 calories, 1.0g Fat<br />
Grapes 240 Calories, 0.4g Fat<br />
Turkey Bolognese 565 Calories, 13.2g Fat<br />
<strong>Cycling (1 hour) -800 Calories</strong></p>
<p><span style="text-decoration:underline;"><strong>Total: 125 Calories, 14.6g Fat</strong></span></p>
<p>Today was very similar in structure, cycled again, and had fruit for lunch. Had a big ol&#8217; juicy steak for dinner:</p>

And just when you think the photos had stopped I hit you straght between the eyes with another! You lucky, lucky rascals! Stats for today as follows:</p>
<p>Toast: 120 Calories, 1.0g Fat<br />
Grapes: 180 Calories, 0.3g Fat<br />
Steak and Jacket: 600 Calories, 14.5g Fat<br />
<strong>Cycling (1 Hour): -800 Calories</strong></p>
<p><span style="text-decoration:underline;"><strong>Total: 100 Calories, 15.8g Fat</strong></span></p>
<p>Very happy with todays effort, as the steak was kind of a last minute thing with some friends. Hoping to cut the fat intake down to under 10g for the next couple of days, but as long as it stays under 20 I&#8217;m very happy with it!</p>
<p>I have my weigh day on Thursday, and that is when I shall be with you all next, I&#8217;m quite nervous ahead of this week&#8217;s weigh after not losing last week, so here is hoping I bring you good news! SO that is just about that for todays new blog! Give me some feedback let me know if you think it is any better than my previous entries, I&#8217;m hoping it will keep things fresh around here.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I knew this week, and this weigh-in would come. And it had. No loss this week, but I did maintain. Was gutted at first, then tried rationalising it to myself, but have come to terms with it now. Ultimately, I lost 8lbs in the last two weeks before this, so I have still lost 8lbs in three weeks, which is of course amazing. So the more I think about it, the more &#8216;OK&#8217; with it I have become.</p>
<p>It also gives me a massive incentive to solve my unfathomable problem of eating poorly at weekends, for the time being I will be tracking my weekends, so as not to &#8220;fall off the wagon&#8221; I think is the best way I can sort it out. Incase I am subconciously waiting for the weekend, then once it comes I feel a release and I can pig out. But, the stupoid thing is, I always feel so bad after it, and sick, so why do it? Because I can? I don&#8217;t know, but this weekend, it stops. Full stop. Hell for leather from now until Christmas, that is for sure!</p>
<p>Until this problem is resolved there is no way I can even think of giving up this blog, I need accountability now more than I ever have before, though I may blog less, I will still post 3 &#8220;good quality&#8221; posts every week, in a new format, with pictures and everything! This way I think it saves the problem of repetitive and mundane posts, I will also be posting my intake and expenditure (csalories, not financial!) for each day of the week. More accountability should lead to better choices.</p>
<p>I think this no loss business this week has done me well. Though, I  don&#8217;t plan on it becoming a regular feature on this journey!</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Lately I have really been considering giving up this blog. It has nothing to do with readers or stats, I just don&#8217;t know if I am getting the full benefits out of it that I should be. For now, I have determined I am. And the main positive I get from it is accountability.</p>
<p>Byt telling you what is going good and what is going poorly in my quest, I am helping myself be honest with, again, not just you, but myself. So it doesn&#8217;t matter if I get 1 viewer a day, it is somebody that knows how I am doing, and is enough for me, when I go to pick up a snack I perhaps shouldn&#8217;t be having to say, better not I have to blog tomorrow, and I will feel bad telling people what I have just eaten.</p>

<p>I had one heck of a poor weekend. I ate like a pig, and it is something that I really need to get under control. My solution is simple, I will track the next few weekends like I would a week day. Then in 2 or 3 weekends time hopefully my painfully crave-giving in body will get the picture! Ah well, we learn and we move on.</p>
<p>The noly major problem I have with it is that now, I&#8217;m at a bad start for the rest of the week! So I&#8217;m really going to have to push hard this week in order to salvage any kind of weight loss. I am aiming for 1lb, not because im defeatest, but because I really just want to see a 16 in front of the stone column! Selfish reasons but meh!</p>
<p>Also, the university work is really going to pile up this week which means I&#8217;m going to have to make sure that more than ever I am on top of my eating, and excercising. No excuses, hell for leather from now until christmas, which, by the way, I am way too excited for in mid-to-late October!</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Today, Friday, the day before the weekend, I find myself having already eaten a couple of chocolates and a biscuit. But, unlike I previously would have I stopped myself before it wrecked my day. I am back home for the weekend and the chocolates were a gift to my mum off her friend, so though delicious, I soon put the box down, and I should still sneak underneath the 1200 calorie limit for the day!</p>
<p>I tried on some more clothes from my wardrobe at home today that fit, but didn&#8217;t only 2 weeks ago when I left for university. There genuinely isn&#8217;t any feeling more gratifying than that, I wore a coat out today and got 3 compliments off people! (I am counting mum &amp; dad! But my mum wouldn&#8217;t say it if she didn&#8217;t think it, and neither would my dad!) BTW, incase you are thinking, huh? It was the first time I have ever fit into that damn coat! So my face was pretty smug all day.</p>
<p>Also, another great thing today was that I had to buy a new belt! Mine had been good, but unfortunately didn&#8217;t do its job anymore, so I traded it in for a newer model (metaphorically) which was half price when I got to the till, so another good thing! Also, in an off beat note, my screenplay treatment is going very well. (For those of you unaware what a treatment is, it&#8217;s a 5-12 page documenting essentially chronicling your story, the story without dialogue.)</p>
<p>This weekend is going to be a bit of a challenge if i&#8217;m honest, with being at home, but after last weekend I am so determined to make it a success that I can&#8217;t think negatively of it before it has even happened, so i&#8217;m just going to approach it like another day and that is that! Last night I saw a chocolate bar in the fridge and did the sensible thing, I read the calories and fat first, rather than scoffing it, then checking it and feeling guilty! FTR there was more fat in one small(ish) bar than I eat 4 out of 5 times in the week! Something I didn&#8217;t know but has made me consider chocolate in a completely different light!</p>
<p>It amazes me to think back at what I was eating on a daily basis, and how naive I was to be thinking, &#8220;how am I putting on weight?&#8221; It&#8217;s a complete no-brainer, I was eating trash, not excercising, staying indoors, then complaining, what a jack-ass! Also, with clothes I now consider myself a XL/XXL which though sounding underwhelming is huge for me (pun intended.) But, that is after losing 5 whole stone, so before when I was wearing the clothes that fit me now, I must have looked a right idiot, I look at people in the streets wearing clothes way too small and think &#8220;can they not see themselves?&#8221; But only now do I realise I was one of those people, recently! And, I think, no, I&#8217;m sure that its both naivity and disillusion. You don&#8217;t want to think that the clothes don&#8217;t fit you, and that you need a bigger size, so mentally you adjust and say &#8220;this is my size, this fits me.&#8221; And that is that.</p>
<p>It just goes to show that the whole process is as much changing mentally as it is changing physically, and that once you are in the right frame of mind the weight absolutely drops off, sure there are blips along the way, and depression (who hasn&#8217;t felt depressed about their weight? No-one, thought so.) But as long as you maintain a positive frame of mind, and I think more importantly a sense of realism about yourself this whole thing becaomes (another intended pun) easy as pie!</p>

<p>Yes please! After worrying if I would lose anything at all after last week, coming off a 6 day week I have lost a further 3lbs! Taking me down to a fighting best 17 stone on the head! I can&#8217;t wait for the next lb lost, to be under 17! Amazing! Who would have though I have lost another stone and a bit since I was up in Scotland, that wasn&#8217;t even long ago! I am truly amazed by myself. I must dash for lectures, but will have a big chunky update for y&#8217;all tomorrow.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Uninspiring title, right? Well, sorry.</p>
<p>Anyway, on the weight loss side of things, all is well in camp, I have a day off from university today, and am determined to be as productive as is humanly possible! I have already cycled for 45 minutes, so excercise for the day is complete, though I still need to get 30miniutes of writing done for my film, then on top of that do university work. All in time for the apprentice!</p>
<p>On a deeper note, I think often about how my life will be different when I am nearing or at my destination on this journey (whatever weight that may be) and I really don&#8217;t know, but it fills me with excitement wondering how for the better my life will change, and of course, if anything gets worse? As I said, I look forward to finding this out. And hope it won&#8217;t be too long from now when I start finding out.</p>
<p>Tomorrow is weigh-day, and on account of a big loss last week and it being a 6 day week in terms of weighing, I don&#8217;t have very high hopes, I have eaten well and excercised, but I think time is a little bit against me on getting a great result this week, maintaining weight, or dropping 1lb would be very satisfying when all is added up. So i will update you tomorrow with those vital facts!</p>

(And before the cries, or cry of anguish of &#8220;It&#8217;s a Monday, it&#8217;s always rubbish start to trickle in) I still don&#8217;t really appreciate Mondays, but this is a good one for me for one main reason. This weekend, I had a treat, but didn&#8217;t pig out! Fianlly, a weekend followed by a Monday without guilt, a bloated stomach, or feeling generally rubbish. If I feel like this every Monday, well I might just be tempted to do it more often on the weekend!</p>
<p>However, that isn&#8217;t case settled, that&#8217;s not the victory. This weekend was spet in university, where the only food in the flat I could eat was my own (I don&#8217;t think my flatmates would have been happy with me eating their food!) So when I did the shopping in the week, with my healthy head on, I didn&#8217;t buy food that would ruin my weekend. Which is fairly straight forward. But, this isn&#8217;t me blaming everything on what is bought at home, in fact the opposite, it&#8217;s me saying, and understanding, that I need to have more will-power when I am at home, and not in control of the cupboards. It&#8217;s the one major piece of the puzzle that I think I really need to nail down on, but this weekend has given me a lot of belief going into next weekend (which I will spend at home) to repeat my success.</p>
<p>Had a very tasty haddock and leek risotto last night, having the same again today, but adding garden peas and spinach to bulk it out, and add some more veg (last nights was filling, but could have done with being a bigger portion.) It is amazing the amount of fish I eat now, fish, chicken and vegetarian dishes make up at least 6 of my weekly meals, if not 7 which is something completely different to what it would have been about 6 months ago! And something I am very proud of.</p>
